On the evening of 20th February 2019, we invite you to join us to change the lives of children who are struggling to fight with illiteracy in one of Nepal’s villages – Dhading.
2 years ago, upon my visit to my home country Nepal, Maxine, Leanne and myself with other friends visited a small project we are working on – rebuilding a Small Farmers’ Co-operative School since the devastating earthquake that occurred 2015.
Currently, the school is struggling for the basic needs such as clean drinking water, proper toilet and sanitation facilities. We really felt helpless that we couldn’t do more at the time. However, we have made a promise to the school’s Principal that we would be back to offer more help.
Here’s what we’ve promised for the first phase:
- Clean drinking water
- Building another toilet (Currently there’s only one for the entire school)
- Sanitation for the toilets
